Nasos Karabelas was born in Ileia, Greece. He’s been involved with the cinema and has produced two short films, which took part in festivals in Greece and abroad.
He started dealing with photography the last four years. He’s self taught and the kind of photography he’s been dealing with, is experimental black and white photography and in particular the possibilities of deformation of the human body.
The alienated body and fuzzy features of the engravings of the matter reflects the ambiguous and unstable emotions and thoughts that constitute that subject.
