Book of Giants is a Portuguese/French duo composed by Marine des Mazery in vocals and Ricardo Silva in the Piano. Marine and Ricardo met in Spain in 2014 and started writing songs with no pre-conceived objectives but willing to experiment in an open-minded posture. Their initial writings wondered by obscure roads and were mostly left behind, but were a part of a path that was important to travel. After a couple of months of experimentation the first songs started to come up and to lay the stones of a small place where both felt comfortable. Their debut album, entitled Disclosure, was released in late 2015 and includes five original songs. It is paved by an intimate voice that draws simple melodies in top of dark chords and warm textures of piano and strings. The lyrics speak about unpretentious places and straightforward questions. Their musical backgrounds goes from indie, rock, electronic, jazz to classical music.
