Mountains are an emo/math rock band based in Daegu, South Korea. The group are comprised of a Briton, an Iranian and a Canadian. All three work as English teachers in Korea.

Mountains combine intricate guitar riffs with rapid-fire, angular rhythms to create songs that are full of energy and ideas whilst also hoping to be melodic and approachable as well; in vein of early 90s emo/alt bands such as Faraquet, Get Up Kids and Cap N’Jazz. Their songs are sung in both English and Korean, with influences coming from their current home as well as their home countries.
