My name is Katya Simkin, from Misiones, Argentina, but currently living in Buenos Aires and I’m 24. I’m a student at the cinematography university and I’m actually working in an office as a manager assistant.
I used to shot digital but I started to shoot film like a year ago, first with a Yashica FX-2 but then I bought a Canon AE-1 which I still use it. If I have to choose between B&W and colour I always prefer colour because I love the palette and the range of colours that you can get with film.
